It’s a massive three points for us’
Mauricio Pochettino gave his reaction to Sky Sports: “It’s a massive three points for us. We beat a very good team.
“We scored three goals and I’m very satisfied. I’m a little disappointed with how we conceded the goals – we could have had a little more maturity. Overall, I’m very happy.
“The players are going to fight to give the fans the best we can do. They need to realise, and we need to realise, we need to stay all together. They need to trust in us through our performance.”

It’s been a tough period – tonight epitomised that’
Newcastle United manager admits his team weren’t good enough at Stamford Bridge.
“Strange game. Frustrating one for us because – we started well, really well,” he told Sky Sports.
“We conceded with their first attack and it was a high-scoring game with not many chances.
“It wasn’t a bad performance but it was inconsistent. It was more the goals we conceded. The first one was out of nothing.
“We didn’t defend situations well enough. It’s been a tough period and tonight epitomised that because there is a lot good.”

‘There’s so much talent at Chelsea – the fans don’t see it’
Chelsea forward Cole Palmer says the result justified the hard work of a young side and the manager Mauricio Pochettino.
“There’s so much talent at Chelsea, the fans don’t see it, the media doesn’t see it,” he told Sky Sports after the match
“The manager works really hard with the players and even if it’s not next season, then the year after it will pay off. We are a young side.
“We’ve had some difficult results so to get three points is vital for us. We showed passion and courage to win the second balls.”

GOAL! Chelsea 3-2 Newcastle United
Jacob Murphy scores a stunner!
The forward finds some space on the right edge of the box and lets fly with a searing effort towards the top corner that beats the keeper at the near post.
The angle was against Murphy from 20 yards but the power in the shot was brutal.
